About the Rigger

A Parachute Rigger is a licensed airman who packs, maintains or repairs parachutes. A rigger is required to understand fabrics, hardware, webbing, regulations, sewing, packing, and other aspects related to the building, packing, repair, and maintenance of parachutes.
